Password, email and two-factor authentication
Change your password or email address, reset a forgotten password, and protect your account with two-factor authentication.
Forgot your password?
On the sign-in page, click Forgot password?, enter your email address and click Send reset link. Follow the link in the email to set a new password. No email? Check your spam folder, and that you used the address you signed up with.
Change your password
Open Settings → Security, enter your current password and the new one twice, and save.
Change your email address
Open Settings → Profile and click Change next to your email. Enter the new address and click Send confirmation link. Your email changes only once you click the link we send to the new address - and then you’re signed out everywhere, so sign in again with the new address.
Two-factor authentication
With two-factor authentication, signing in also needs a 6-digit code from an authenticator app (such as 1Password, Google Authenticator or Authy), so a stolen password alone isn’t enough.
- Open Settings → Security and click Enable under Two-factor authentication.
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app - or enter the key shown under it.
- Enter the 6-digit code it shows and click Confirm and enable.
- Save your recovery codes somewhere safe - copy or download them. They’re shown only once.
Lost your phone?
Sign in with your password, click Use a recovery code and enter one of your saved codes. Each works once. Then, under Settings → Security, generate New recovery codes, or disable and re-enable two-factor authentication with your new phone.
If you’ve lost both your authenticator and your recovery codes, contact us from the email address of your account.
Verification email didn’t arrive
Check your spam or junk folder, and wait a few minutes. If the link has expired, register again with the same address to get a new one. Still nothing? Contact us.
