Getting started with NoteClearly
What NoteClearly does, and how to go from your first recording to a tidy note in a few minutes.
NoteClearly is for getting a thought down before it’s gone. You press record and say it, and NoteClearly writes it down. If you want, AI can tidy it into a clear note, add a title and tags, and pick out what you need to do.
1. Create your account
Create a free account with your email address. We send you a link to confirm the address, and then you choose your name and password. The Free plan needs no credit card.
2. Record your first note
After you sign in you land on Record. Tap the microphone, or press Space, and start talking. The first time, your browser asks for access to your microphone - allow it. Tap again to stop.
Your recording is saved while you talk and transcribed as soon as you stop. A short recording usually takes a few seconds; you can keep working meanwhile. See Record a voice note for the details.
You don’t have to record. You can also upload an audio file you already have, or write a note by typing.
3. Let AI tidy it up (optional)
Tick Polish with AI before you record, and the transcript becomes a clear, readable note. Your exact words are always kept beside it. See Polish a note with AI.
On the AI & automation page you can also have every new recording get a title, tags and its key points - action items, decisions and open questions - on its own. See Automatic titles, tags and key points.
4. Find it again
Every note is under Notes. Search by meaning - “the thing about the new office” finds the note even if you said “workplace” - or click Ask to get an answer from your notes. See Search your notes and Ask your notes a question.
Where to go next
- Install NoteClearly on your phone or computer, so it’s one tap away.
- Organize with tags and saved views.
- Connect your AI assistant, like Claude, to search and read your notes.
