Write a note

Type a note instead of recording one - with Markdown, tags and every AI feature.

Not everything is said out loud. You can write a note too:

  1. Click Write on the Notes page, or Write a note on the Record page.
  2. Give it a Title, write the Text, or both, and add tags if you like.
  3. Click Create note, or press Ctrl+S (⌘+S on a Mac).

A written note costs no transcription minutes, and you can edit it right away.

Formatting

The editor formats as you type: type / for headings, lists, task lists, quotes, tables and code. Underneath, the note is Markdown - you can switch to the Markdown tab to write it directly:

## Groceries
- [ ] Milk
- [ ] Bread

**Remember:** the shop closes at 8.

AI on a written note

Everything works on a written note as on a recording: polish it, find its key points, or create a summary or an email. If you’ve turned on automatic titles and tags, a written note gets them too. Polishing happens only when you ask for it.
