NoteClearly

Tags

Group your notes with colored tags - add them while recording, on a note, or let AI pick them.

Tags group your notes: “Work”, “Ideas”, “Project Falcon”. A note can have as many tags as you like.

Tag a note

  • Before recording: pick tags under Tag this note on the Record page.
  • On a note: click Add tag under the title. Type to find a tag, or type a new name and choose Create “…”. Tags are saved as soon as you add or remove them.
  • Automatically: turn on Tag new recordings on the AI & automation page, and AI adds up to 3 of your existing tags that clearly fit. See Automatic titles, tags and key points.

Manage your tags

Tags in the sidebar (under Manage) lists your tags with how many notes each has. There you can create a tag, and rename it, change its color or delete it from its menu. Deleting a tag removes it from all notes - the notes are kept.

Filter by tags

On Notes, pick tags under Tags to see only the notes that have all of them. Notes with no tags at all are under the Untagged tab. For a filter you use often, save it as a view.

Good to know

  • Tags are private to you. Colleagues in your organization have their own.
  • Tag names are unique, whatever their capitals: “work” and “Work” are the same tag.
