AI credits
What AI credits are, what each AI feature costs, and what happens when they run out.
AI work - polishing, titles and tags, key points, outputs, answers and the weekly digest’s overview - is paid for in AI credits. Your organization gets a number of them each month with its plan.
| Plan | AI credits per month |
|---|---|
| Free | 10 |
| Basic | 1,500 |
| Advanced | 5,000 |
| Pro | 15,000 |
What things cost
A job costs 1 credit per started 1,000 words the AI reads, at least 1. When the AI writes the text back - a polish, or any output but a summary - it costs double.
| For a 10-minute recording (about 1,500 words) | Credits |
|---|---|
| Key points | about 2 |
| Polish | about 4 |
| Summary | about 2 |
| Email draft or minutes | about 4 |
An answer to a question costs by the size of the question and the passages it read. Searching, transcription and everything else cost no credits.
On plans with a credit limit, the app shows what an action will cost before you start it. Credits are charged only when the job succeeds.
How they’re counted
- The credits are shared by everyone in your organization, and reset on the 1st of each month (UTC).
- The sidebar and the Record page show how many are used this month.
- Members get a notification at 80% and when they’re used up.
When they run out
AI features pause until next month - or until your organization moves to a bigger plan. New recordings are still transcribed, but skip their automatic AI steps, and anything already waiting for AI fails with a message saying so; you can run it again later. Your notes and everything else keep working. See Plans, upgrades and cancelling.
Very long notes
Notes over 20,000 words (8,000 for a polish) are never sent to the AI, since that would cost too much in one go. Split them into several notes.
