# Notifications

> Choose which notifications you get in the app and by email.

The bell at the top of the app shows your notifications. Open **Settings → Notifications** to choose, for each kind, whether you get it **In-app**, by **Email**, both or neither.

| Notification | When |
| --- | --- |
| **Transcribed recordings** | The transcript of one of your recordings is ready. |
| **Failed recordings** | One of your recordings couldn't be transcribed. |
| **Polished notes** | AI has polished one of your notes. |
| **Weekly digest** | Your [weekly digest](https://noteclearly.com/en/help/weekly-digest/) is ready. |
| **Transcription minutes** | Your organization has used 80% or all of the month's minutes. |
| **AI credits** | Your organization has used 80% or all of the month's AI credits. |
| **Subscription and payments** | About your organization's plan, for those who manage it. |

Everything is in-app only to begin with; switch on **Email** for the ones you want in your inbox. Some emails are about your account - security notices, password resets, failed payments - and are always sent.
