> Add NoteClearly to your home screen or dock, so it opens like an app - no app store needed.

NoteClearly runs in your browser, and you can install it so it opens in its own window like any other app, one tap away. There is nothing to download from an app store, and it always runs the latest version.

## iPhone and iPad

1. Open [NoteClearly](https://app.noteclearly.com/) in **Safari**.
2. Tap the **Share** button in the browser bar.
3. Choose **Add to Home Screen** (under **More** if it is not in the list).
4. Tap **Add**.

## Android

1. Open [NoteClearly](https://app.noteclearly.com/) in **Chrome**.
2. Tap **Install** when NoteClearly offers it, or open Chrome's menu (⋮) and choose **Install app** (or **Add to Home screen**).

## Windows, Mac, Linux and ChromeOS

- **Chrome or Edge:** click **Install** when NoteClearly offers it, or the install icon at the right end of the address bar.
- **Safari on a Mac:** in the menu bar, open **File** and choose **Add to Dock**, then click **Add**.

## Good to know

- You stay signed in, just as in the browser.
- Keep NoteClearly open on screen while you record. On a phone, switching to another app or locking the screen can stop the recording - whatever was recorded until then is kept. See [Record a voice note](https://noteclearly.com/en/help/record-a-voice-note/#keep-the-screen-open).
- To remove it, delete it like any other app. Your notes are not affected - they are stored in your account, not on the device.
