# Download and export your notes

> Download one note, a filtered set or all your notes as Markdown files that open in any editor.

Your notes are yours to take anywhere. NoteClearly downloads them as **Markdown** (`.md`) files - plain text that opens in any editor and imports into apps like Obsidian, Notion, Bear or Logseq.

## One note

Open the note, open the **⋯** menu and choose **Download .md**. Or choose **Copy text** to paste it somewhere.

The file has the title and details at the top, then the note. For a recording you've edited or polished, the original transcript follows in a collapsed section. Key points are included at the top.

## Many notes

On **Notes**, click **Download all** - or **Download these** when you're in a view, have tags picked or have searched. You get a `.zip` with one `.md` file per note. Notes with no text yet are skipped.

## Everything about you
